I say we need to wake up every morning and make the conscious decision to fill out day with joy!
A very good friend of mine gave me a copy of Co-creating at It’s Best. A Conversation Between Master Teachers, by Wayne Dyer and Esther Hicks. One of the concepts in this book is the idea that while we are sleeping, the conscious momentum of your thoughts ceases. Meaning, what you think and put out into the world is what you attract back to you. When you sleep, this conscious momentum ceases, and when you wake, you have the opportunity to start another stream of thoughts that you put out into the world.
If you wake up and start thinking about the dragons you have to slay and the crappy day you are facing, well, the dragons will be bigger and the crap is guaranteed to be deeper.
However, if you wake up feeling full of joy and enthusiasm for the day ahead, that is exactly what your day will be filled with, joy and enthusiasm. I have been actually doing this for months, and I am here to tell you folks, this shit works.
If you have already woken up and thought about dragons and crap, take a few minutes to reverse that thought process. Dig deep within yourself and think about your joys in life. Turn your crap into joy! I guarantee you, if you put everything out of your mind except for the joy, your day is going to greatly improve.
