Microsoft Office 2013

Microsoft Office 2013 is coming, and has been designed to look very much like the Windows 8 user interface, meaning white and bright.  Get your sunglasses out. The biggest changes are the integration of the software into the internet.  Save your documents in SkyDrive, a Microsoft Cloud type service, or save your documents on your computer.  Your choice.

Touch features and Stylus writing are available.  You would most likely use this on a tablet or phone, and not your laptop.  Most laptops do not have touch screens, yet.

You will be able to edit PDF’s in Word, which is a pretty cool feature.

There are lots of enhancements to Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc, but I wont get into them here.  I am working on getting the preview of Office 2013 installed and working in my office, and will report more on new features later.

Look for a Fall release.
