A redesigned Maps program that will include an overview picture, turn by turn navigation, traffic conditions, and a great Flyover view.
Updates to Siri. Apparently she has gone to school and now knows her sports, restaurants, and movies.
Passbook. A boarding pass app that lets you store boarding passes, movie tickets, retail coupons, loyalty cards, and more. I am really looking forward to this app.
FaceTime over Cellular. In the past, FaceTime was a feature that only worked while you were connected to a wireless connection. Now it will work from any connection.
Calling features. Decline an incoming call, reply with a text message, or set a callback reminder (so needed). Also a Do Not Disturb feature.
IOS 6 will be compatible with the iPhone 3GS, 4, and 4S. Also iPod Tough 4th Gen, and iPad 2 and the new iPad.
IOS 6 will be released “sometime in the fall”.
