What is all the hype over Windows 7?

You may or may not have heard that Microsoft has released a beta version of their latest operating system upgrade, call Windows Release Candidate 7.

I have downloaded the software but have not yet loaded it onto a computer. I will be doing so in the next few weeks and will be testing and reporting on what I find.
