iPhone 5 It is official!  The iPhone 5 has been announced.  It is made entirely of glass and aluminum.  18% thinner than the iPhone 4S, and 20% lighter.  The Retina display screen is stunning at 326ppi, and is 4″ tall.  All other iPhones have had a 3.5″ screen.  The extra half inch allows for 5 rows of icons on the screen, instead of 4.   All iWork and iLife apps have been updated. The iPhone 5 will also be able to utilize the LTE network.  The processor is an A6 processor.  

But there is good news!  YouTube has launched it’s own iPhone app, available now in the App Store.  As Apple hardly ever updated it’s Native YouTube app since it’s launch in 2007, the new YouTube app should be a refreshing change.  The YouTube Android app has many more features than the Apple App did.  Thousands more videos will be available, and more sophisticated search features. The new YouTube app will work on the iPad but it is not formatted for the bigger iPad screen.  

Hello everyone, I am back from my trip to California, and I picked up my new iPhone 3G S. I was able to get this, without a charge, because I had purchased my iPhone 3G within 30 days of the announcement of the new iPhone 3G S. I only had to pay a $20 restocking fee for the old phone. Pretty cool. I was a bit worried about the transition of my data from the old phone to the new one, but it was really slick. Prior to going to the AT&T store to pick up the new phone this mornin
